What is Campfire Bash?

Campfire Bash is a unique interactive evening of camp-inspired food and fun. Attendees will get a taste of the fun and adventure that children living with serious illnesses and their families experience at SeriousFun camps and programmes all around the world.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed to “Camp SeriousFun” where they can try their hand at one of many camp-based activity stations, while mingling with friends over sparkling wine and elevated camp nibbles. Guests can visit the “Camp Store”, fulfill a camper wish at the Wishing Tree, buy a raffle ticket, or bid on exclusive prizes in the silent auction.

A camp bell will signal guests to take a seat for a delectable meal served family-style…just like at camp! During dinner, guests will be treated to Stage Night, a beloved and inspiring tradition found at SeriousFun camps. Stage Night will feature a variety of performances and acts from celebrity friends and SeriousFun campers.

Following dinner, guests will enjoy a dessert reception (including s’mores, of course!) and Camp Dance Party. And it couldn’t be a Campfire Bash without a campfire! If dancing isn’t your thing, you can snuggle under a blanket around the campfire and enjoy camp songs under the night sky.

This not-to-be-missed bash will benefit the global family of SeriousFun camps and programmes founded by Paul Newman.

Stage Night Participants

Dress Code: Campfire Chic

Campfire Chic…don’t know what that is? Great – because we invented it! Look smart, but be comfortable. And maybe let your inner kid add a bit of flair to your look. Denim and sequins? Why not! Trousers and a button-down shirt….and even a sport coat if you’d like. But leave the tie at home! And for Pete’s sake, no tuxedos*!

(*Paul Newman famously burned his tuxedo in 2003 and swore off penguin suits ever after.)

Location: Tobacco Dock

Campfire Bash will be held in the Great Gallery of the Tobacco Dock, a unique Grade 1 listed venue located on Pennington Street, Wapping, London E1W 2BB (please be sure to use the West Entrance on Pennington Street).

Onsite parking is available at Tobacco Dock Car Park, St. Katharine’s & Wapping, London E1W 2DA

Nearest Train & Underground Stations

• 15 minute walk from Tower Hill (District/Circle Line)
• 5 minute walk from Shadwell (Overground/DLR)
• 7 minute walk from Wapping (Overground)
